On December 23, 2024, the Faculty of Public Health at Mahidol University had the honor of hosting a special institutional meeting with the Faculty of Public Health of Kunming Medical University, China. This significant event was inaugurated by the administrators of the Master of Public Health (MPH) Program, alongside key leaders from various departments.

Our esteemed Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarawut Thepanondh, warmly welcomed the distinguished delegation from Kunming Medical University, which included Dr. Cai Le, Vice (Acting) Dean, School of Public Health; Dr. Bai Hua, Director of the Office of Scientific Research and Graduate Management; Dr. Bai Heng, Secretary of Foreign Affairs; and Ms. Dong Wenlin, Administrative Staff of the Office of Student Affairs.

The visit focused on discussing our institutions’ academic programs, exploring opportunities for collaboration, and strengthening ties through the development of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This partnership reflects a shared vision of advancing public health education and building lasting international connections.
